The 2022 Conference and Gathering is being held in Queen’s University, Belfast, 2- 4 September 2022, and is organised by the Building Limes Forum Ireland.
A great line-up of lectures and tours is planned. As well as looking at Belfast in context, recent projects within and outside the city will be explored. Morning lectures and talks will be followed by site visits of the Titanic Quarter, Carrickfergus Castle, Lanyon Building, Queen’s University and walking tours of Belfast City Centre. Saturday morning will concentrate on the pressing issue of retrofitting existing historic building stock for thermal upgrade, the (lime based) materials, and the implications. Papers from both international and local members will be delivered along with updates on new research.
Early Bird Tickets for BLF members now available.
