Getting to Northumbria University

The conference is being held at the Faculty of Business & Law, City Campus East, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 1XA

Plane: Newcastle International Airport is less than 30 mins from the city centre via the city’s Metro system.  Take the Metro (green line) to Monument where you can change for trains to Manors (as detailed below)

Train: You can reach Newcastle’s Central Station from all around the UK. From there you can take the Metro to the University as detailed below

Metro:

The closest Metro station to the Accommodation and Lecture Theatre is Manors. From Central Station, board the Metro travelling towards ‘St James via Whitley Bay’ for one stop and change at ‘Monument’. At Monument, take the stairs or lift up to Platform 3. Then board any train travelling to ‘South Shields via Whitley Bay’. Exit the train at Manors, turn right and walk up the ramp or stairs. At the lights, cross the road and City Campus East will be straight ahead.

Car: There is no parking available on campus. If travelling by car, the nearest paid-for car parking is at NCP Newcastle John Dobson Street, which has 24 hour parking for around £18.
