Getting to Bangor University
Plane: Manchester International Airport is less than 1 ½ hours by train from Bangor, with trains departing from the airport station.
For arrivals at John Lennon International Airport in Liverpool, take a shuttle bus to the city centre to catch the train from Liverpool James Street station.
Train: Bangor station is 11 minutes’ walk from Ffriddoedd village and 13 minutes’ walk from the Main Arts Building where the morning sessions are taking place. For timetables check National Rail Enquiries.
Car: Parking is free for conference delegates. For those booking accommodation at Ffriddoedd village, a parking permit will be issued with your room key when you check in. For delegates without university accommodation, there is parking on campus near the Main Arts Building where the morning sessions are taking place.
