I am a conservation accredited building surveyor with interest in good building conservation, specifically traditional stonemasonry, mortars and lime finishes. Much of my experience and work is related to high quality repairs to traditional buildings/ performance of traditional construction and details / developing and implementing repair strategies to buildings particularly in remote and exposed environments.
Recently I have worked on developing a new method of injecting lime grout into ashlar buildings to successfully solve longstanding water penetration problems - known as micro-grouting.
